About this Nominee

Naturalist For You is an environmental education nonprofit established in the City of Orange in 2006. For nearly two decades, we have been connecting people of all ages to the local wilderness of Orange County through guided hikes, outdoor education, wildlife experiences, conservation projects, and community events.

From exploring Orange County's best hiking trails, waterfall hikes, tide pool adventures, and beach nature walks to discovering night hikes featuring insects, spiders, owls, and other nocturnal wildlife, our naturalist guides help people experience Southern California's outdoors in exciting and meaningful ways. We also offer birding walks, seasonal foraging, living history experiences, survival skills, botany, art journaling, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness programs for the public as well as private programs for schools and corporations or groups.

As a local nonprofit, we believe conservation begins with connection. Through educational programs, volunteer opportunities, habitat restoration efforts, and community partnerships, we inspire residents and visitors alike to explore, appreciate, and protect the natural places that make Orange County special.

Our work also supports the Save Orange Hills campaign, helping protect one of Orange County's most important remaining natural landscapes while encouraging responsible recreation, environmental stewardship, and community involvement.
